Watford Joggers - Sunday Cross Country League
| The Sunday Cross Country League comprises 5 races. All start at 10:30 at different venues. There is one race a month starting in October. Check the Future Races page on this site for dates and venues. The races are 5-6 miles. There is nothing as severe, terrain wise, as Parliament Hill. We would expect runners to be able to compete in any of the races in trail shoes. There are five venues each year, however Royston is always a favourite. The compact nature of the course, the hills and facilities always make this popular with our club. Run as many or few as you like. The team competition is scored for each race, you only need to do 4 or more to score an individual place. We are hosting a race, if you haven’t joined us earlier in the season perhaps you could volunteer to marshal? The races are low key, and you run without numbers. At the end you collect a disc, this is your overall place. Hand in the discs to the team captain. Your name and place is then handed to the league secretary who unravels the men and ladies and puts times with them. The results are usually published by Tuesday evening. Sunday Cross Country League - Broxbourne Cheshunt Park golf club, Park Lane, Cheshunt, EN7 6QD Parking can be diffficult. Use side roads. Approx 5.5 miles. 2 laps of grass and parkland. No mud or hills. Showers and café at golf club. 10.30 start for men and ladies in one race |
Sunday Cross Country League - Trent Park Trent Park, Cockfosters Rd, Barnet Ample parking. A new venue for this league. No course details but the park has gentle hills, woods and grassland. May be muddy. Café at visitor centre. 10.30 start for men and ladies in one race. |

Sunday Cross Country League - Watford Cassiobury Park, Langley Way, Watford. WD17 3BD Parking may be available at The Sun. Approx 5 miles. A short section of grass then tarmac and 2 laps of the woods which may be muddy with some hills. Showers at The Sun. 10.30 start for men and ladies in one race. |

Usually a 2 lap course of approx 5.5 miles. Some grass land and fields. Undulating not hilly. 10.30 start for men and ladies in one race. |
