London Marathon Water Station Volunteers

Volunteers for the  London Marathon Water Station on 26th April 2026
 
Volunteers for the  London Marathon Water Station on 26th April 2026. we need about 100 volunteers to cover the whole day. It is a great fun day. Please read below.
 
All volunteers will recieve;
A volunteer t-shirt/Buxton water
A volunteer windbreaker jacket/LME(if you had one last year please reuse)
A volunteer cap
A digital volunteer certificate you will receive after the event
A lunch bag
And as much water as you can drink.
 
LME are trying to improve their enviromental impact.  LME are encouraging volunteers to reuse their windbreakers, this is totally optional.
 
As LME require more volunteers this year.  The coach management will be slightly different this year.  We also need 10 volunteers to remian at the water station until around 7:00pm.
 
Water station volunteer booking is via the shop. 
There are three options;
1) Coach 1 shift departs at 7:15am returns about 4:30pm.
2) Coach 2 shift departs at 10:15am returns  about 6:00pm.
3) Independent travel arrive and depart to suit, shift duration 8 hours.

Volunteering is only available to club members, immediate family, close friends and children over 16 accompanied by an adult.
 
ALL  water station volunteers must be registered. Those who have registered from volunteering in previous years will be automatically added to LME volunteer list.  Those who have not volunteered before will receive an invite from LME inviting them to register to Watford Joggers.

Please do not park in the Essex Arms Pub car park! Note that some roads on the Cassiobury Estate may have parking restrictions, so please allow enough time to park before catching the coach. 
 
Attendance at London Water station is a ballot criteria for Watford Joggers 2026 ballot.
